For decades, the Baylor University football team called the Floyd Casey Stadium home. Built in 1950, the stadium was originally known as Baylor Stadium and had a seating capacity of 20,000.

Renovations and Expansions

Over the years, the stadium underwent several renovations and expansions to increase its seating capacity and improve its facilities. In 1988, the stadium was renamed Floyd Casey Stadium in honor of Floyd Casey, a Baylor alumni and philanthropist who made significant contributions to the university. The stadium's seating capacity was increased to 50,000 in 1998, making it one of the largest stadiums in the Big 12 Conference.
