The 2023 Baylor football season is off to an exciting start, with the Bears looking to build on their impressive 2022 campaign. Under the guidance of head coach Dave Aranda, the team is poised to make a strong push in the Big 12 Conference.

Early Season Highlights

The Bears kicked off their season with a convincing 31-14 win over Albany, followed by a nail-biting 24-21 loss toBYU. They bounced back with a dominant 45-17 victory over Texas State, before securing their first Big 12 win of the season against Kansas, 34-27.

Notable Performances

• Quarterback Blake Shapen has been impressive, throwing for 945 yards and 7 touchdowns in the first four games.
• Running back Richard Reese has been a force on the ground, rushing for 342 yards and 4 touchdowns.
• Wide receiver Monaray Baldwin has been a standout receiver, hauling in 21 catches for 293 yards and 2 touchdowns.

Upcoming Games

The Bears face a tough test in their next game, as they travel to Stillwater to take on Oklahoma State. They will then return home to face West Virginia, before heading to Austin to take on Texas.
