John Cook, the current head coach of the Nebraska Cornhuskers volleyball team, is a name synonymous with success and excellence. With a storied career spanning over four decades, Cook has established himself as one of the most decorated coaches in college volleyball history.

A Coaching Legacy

Cook's tenure at Nebraska began in 2000, and since then, he has led the Cornhuskers to unprecedented heights. With a impressive record of 734-153 (.828 winning percentage), he has guided the team to four NCAA championships (2000, 2006, 2015, and 2017) and seven NCAA runner-up finishes.

In addition to his national championships, Cook has also led Nebraska to 15 Big 12 Conference championships and has been named the AVCA National Coach of the Year four times (2000, 2005, 2015, and 2016).
